Optimasi LCP#

1. Hosting di Indonesia untuk user lokal — TTFB turun 30-60ms vs Singapore.
2. Preload hero image dengan <link rel="preload" as="image" fetchpriority="high">.
3. Image format: AVIF > WebP > JPEG. Astro & Next.js bisa auto-convert.
4. Self-host font atau pakai font-display: swap + preload + subset.
5. Critical CSS inline, sisanya defer. Astro auto-handle ini.

Optimasi INP (yang sering terlewat)#

INP turun saat main thread blocked. Penyebab umum:

• Heavy hydration — komponen React besar di-hydrate saat user klik. Solusi: islands architecture (Astro), atau React Server Components (Next.js).
• Long tasks — JS execution > 50ms. Pecah pakai scheduler.yield() atau requestIdleCallback.
• Forced layout reflow — read DOM property setelah write. Use requestAnimationFrame atau batch DOM ops.

Optimasi CLS#

1. Set width + height di semua <img>.
2. Reserve space untuk lazy-loaded content (skeleton).
3. Pre-define dimensi iframe / embed.
4. Hindari injection content di top viewport setelah initial render.
